Brian Cashman '85 Named 2017 Major League Executive of the Year

Brian Cashman '85, the longtime General Manager of the New York Yankees, has been named the 2017 Major League Baseball Executive of the Year.

The Yankees won 91 games and outperformed many preseason expectations. Cashman led the organization's front office efforts and played a critical role in the team's success.

Cashman has been the Yankees' General Manager for 19 years.
