Congratulations to the International Relations Club for participating in the 35th Annual Model Organization of American States. Held in the international Headquarters in Washington, D.C., the MOAS is supported and administered by the Staff of the OAS General Secretariat. Georgetown Prep was one of the founding schools, and this year the debate forum expanded to include eleven schools from South America and the Caribbean.
This year's co-ed team was comprised of students from Georgetown Prep and Stone Ridge representing the delegations for the United States and Dominica. The students prepared by researching and writing resolutions that dealt with topics such as cyber-terrorism, natural disaster prevention, and sustainable development.
